The best advice I can give someone who is considering homeownership is to just call. A good agent is going to be happy to help you understand the process and what steps you need to be prepared. The market we are currently in is extremely fast-paced. What this means is that there are several things that MUST be prepared in order to make an offer on a home. Because of this, buyers can often blur the lines between urgency and a high-pressure sales tactic. Again, a phone call or a meeting with a good agent can help you understand that the ultimate goal of any agent that represents you is to get you what you want.
